My Dear Friends,
Do you remember 9-12, 2001?  On every porch flew an American Flag, and every passerby was a friend.  The church doors opened wide and people around the world sought answers from a God who must certainly know.  Heroes were heralded on the nightly news, along with stories of impossible rescues, providential absences resulting in salvation, boat rescues, donations that poured in, and out-of-state rescue and clean-up teams that came to help.

Twenty years ago today, the heart of the American Spirit was awakened… for a while.  In 2009, Glen Beck started the 9-12 Project that recaptured that Spirit... for a while. 

Again in 2020, this nation was attacked, but rather than coming together, we “Social Distanced.”  Rather than churches opening doors, they locked them shut.  Fearful and alone, a generation with no images of burning towers seared into their minds was left to promote a world where only one race matters and law and order and history must be destroyed. 

In short, we’re in trouble.  

But on September 18, 2021, in Pueblo, Colorado, less than 520 of us can lead a turn-around.

A turn-around to what?  Back to America, where our founding documents say:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

We can no longer believe that our government has any intention of “securing our rights.”  Quite the opposite!  The pResident recently said his patience is growing thin with those of us who choose not to comply with the government plan to inject us all with a substance that may be more deadly than the disease.  We, the governed, do not consent to this government which has become destructive to our Life, Liberty and pursuit of Happiness. 

Using the accusatory term “conspiracy theorist,” the government silences citizens who dare question the government’s role in 9-11, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, mass immigration, COVID, election fraud, and so much more.  Fear of being fired keeps some people quite, as does fear of being unjustly incarcerated, facing lawsuits, and even being “suicided.”  Self-censoring has become the norm, as has social media censorship and de-platforming.  None of this is symptomatic of a people with governments that have derived “their just powers from the consent of the governed.”  The government’s unjust powers have been derived from the complacency of the governed.

On September 18th, the members of the Colorado State Central Committee will meet to decide – shall we Republicans “Keep the Republic,” or shall we continue to let it go?  We can vote “NO” to remain enslaved in the current untrustworthy government-run election system, hoping that someday, someone will fix it.  Or, with a resounding “YES” vote to Opt-Out of the open primary, we could collectively be that “someone.”  Opting out won’t be the end-all to our problems, but it will be the beginning to all the solutions.  The solution is a strong, courageous, effective, purposeful Republican Party.

The complacent members will vote “NO” just by not showing up.  Others have encouraged a “NO” vote, fearful of negative public perception, or the Party’s marketing ineptitude, or the loss of taxpayer funded elections.  (Go to www.coloradohispanicrepublicans.org and scroll down to see the Colorado Hispanic Republicans opt-out debate.)

But make no mistake, there is a lot of money and power to be had from controlling WE THE PEOPLE by controlling government, and controlling elections is step number one in controlling government.  Some of the people saying NO, don’t Opt-Out, know they will lose some of that power and money if we reach the most-likely-unconstitutionally high 75% vote required to Opt-Out.

That 75% vote will give back to the Republican Party full control of our internal primary elections.  The incredible unity displayed by a 75% vote of the elected Republican officials and party leaders from around the state will give hope that the Republican Party has decided to honor the purpose of the Party and work to replace tyrants and their tyranny with Republicans and a Republican form of government.

It won’t be easy, but We Can Do It!  One Nation Under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for ALL!
