Matthew Menza - for Chairman

Matt was born at Boulder Community Hospital and raised mostly in Colorado Springs.

Matt attended CU Boulder and received a BS in Mechanical engineering.

He attended CU Navy ROTC and when he graduated, he was commissioned in the US Navy. He went to flight school and became a Navy Carrier Pilot and later went to test pilot school and spent 8 of his 20 years of his military career as an FA-18 super hornet test pilot. 

He received a master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the Navy post graduate school and served on four combat deployments where he earned an air medal and meritorious service medal for his combat experience. 

Currently, Matt is a local St Vrain Valley School District Substitute Teacher, small aerospace business owner, airline pilot and certified flight instructor. 

Matt is also a former Colorado state candidate and a current District Captain for SD17. 

Matt is an objective mission oriented individual that believes in creating a unified team that will work toward common goals; goals that will result in progressing the republican and conservative message. 

His character represents an ideal candidate for BCR chair because his focused leadership will unite teams focused on common goals that include community involvement, community outreach, fundraising, promoting candidates and members that are focused on ensuring our state primary is only open to republicans, preservation of our caucus system, election integrity and support of candidates that believe in the America first agenda. 

We need leadership that isn’t afraid of labels and wokism backlash, but instead puts principles and party first.
