ONCE AGAIN DEMANDING HONEST ELECTIONS

For over a decade, Boulder County Republicans have been trying to persuade the Boulder County Clerk to provide honest elections for the county's voters.  Most recently, I added an addendum to my signature on the 2025 Logic and Accuracy Test.  Over the years, more and more Colorado counties have followed BCR's lead and refused to certify elections.

The proof that former County Clerk Tina Peters captured of election records having been manipulated was not allowed to be presented in the case that caused her incarceration of more than a year already, with eight more years on her sentence. But her lawyers didn’t stop searching out that evidence.

Just two days ago, John Case sent an Open Letter to Colorado’s Governor Polis and Secretary of State Jena Griswold, explaining that because the creators of our election systems gave sworn testimony that the systems were CREATED to steal elections, Colorado should immediately go back to hand-counted paper ballots.

From Mr. Case:
As a Colorado lawyer, I believe the following immediate actions are necessary to assure free and transparent elections in Colorado:
1. Eliminate the use of computer voting machines in all Colorado elections.
2. Return to vote in person, with government issued id, on election day, in the
voter’s own precinct, on paper ballots, that are hand counted in the precinct by
bipartisan election judges under public observation. Hand counting ballots works
successfully in most industrialized nations. Hand counts worked in Colorado for
100 years before we outsourced our elections to private vendors.
3. Preserve all existing election records, including digital logs, databases, and
forensic images for use in future audits and civil rights litigation, as required by
52 U.S. Code §20701.
4. Convene public hearings to examine the evidence presented by experts and
whistleblowers.
Failure to act now will erode public trust in the voting system beyond repair.

Here is Mr. Case’s Open Letter in full:

The following excerpt is from a letter from a good friend of mine, and I wholeheartedly encourage you to follow this advice:

In response to the Open Letter to Polis and Griswold published yesterday, (https://rockymountainvoice.com/2025/10/21/tina-peters-attorney-presses-governor-polis-and-secretary-griswold-to-eliminate-computer-voting-machines/) I am writing a letter to the Clerks, Commissioners and State Legislators to demand a return to hand counted paper ballot elections.

I encourage each and every one of you to do the same!

I have compiled a list of all the clerks, commissioners and legislators to make the task easier. Send it to all of them or find your county's info on the list and send it to them. Just send them something! https://drive.proton.me/urls/FSZMWE7TSC#hvSQ6L6I1kfT

In my letter, which I uploaded in this drive, I stated "If the DOJ is investigating and you, as elected officials, move forward as though nothing is wrong—what does that say about your own accountability? Indifference to potential election crimes implies consent."

Use Your Voice. Please stay in the fight.

Add to this that President Donald Trump claims he plans to issue an Executive Order banning electronic election systems! So, the clerks – and the major political parties – must be preparing to hand count!

Finally, my yearly reminder to my fellow County Chairmen – this time to those on both sides of the political aisle – Don’t Certify the Elections. Colorado’s elections have been perverted to the point where we don’t know who voted, we don’t know if all the votes were counted and if those that were, were counted correctly, and we don’t know what happens inside the voting systems, but we know they were NOT designed to produce honest results. The worst thing is that we do know that the current laws and rules for our elections were written by people who probably have incentives to continue dishonest elections. Although the members of the bipartisan Canvass Boards are now “legally” PREVENTED from making honest accounts of the elections, according to the certificate the clerk wants them to sign, we know without a shadow of a doubt that the elections are not certifiable. So, where the clerks would have you write your signature, attesting to your trust in their ability to overcome all the built-in problems with the election process, instead please write something like “I refuse to certify.”
For ourselves and our posterity, we must Demand Honest Elections!
Sincerely,
Peg Cage, Chairman Boulder County Republicans
