The Canvass Board Member’s War Chest of INFORMATION.
The Canvass Board Meetings, now called the "Signing Off" meetings by County Clerks to demean the members' authority, are the last step in the election process, and are conducted entirely for the benefit of the citizens. The members of the Board are representaves of each Majority Party, appointed by their County Chairman. It is the duty of the County Clerk to prove to the Canvass Board Members that the election was conducted with integrity. I contend that we cannot verify the results if we cannot verify that each process had integrity, no matter if the new definition of “ballots cast” allows for easy “verification” of that number matching the “ballots counted.”
